The Saint Paul Federation of Educators bargains contracts for all School and Community Service Professionals, Educational Assistants, and Licensed Staff who work in Saint Paul Public Schools. SPFE is proud of our long history fighting for the best contract possible for our members.

Negotiations for the 2023-2025 contract started on Thursday, May 25, 2023 and are scheduled for the following Thursdays from 4:30-8:30 p.m: 10/12 (at 360 Colborne), 10/25 (at SPFE), 11/2 (at 360 Colborne), and 11/16 (at SPFE). More dates will be posted as needed.

Our negotiation sessions are open to the public, and we encourage members, parents, and community members to attend. Educators and parents are key partners in contract negotiations, and we often invite them to testify on the proposals we are bringing to the bargaining table. Bargaining alongside parents and the community fundamentally changed the way that SPFE approaches contract negotiations.
