Scholarships

The SPFT Scholarship Trust Committee offers multiple financial support to qualified senior high school students. These scholarships are open to students whose parent or guardian – living or deceased – is or was a member of the Saint Paul Federation of Teachers on or before September 1, 2016. These awards are presented in the spring.

The Local 28 Scholarship is available to students who are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school, technical school, or college. Additionally, The Dollars for Scholars program offers two $1,000 scholarships to students who have at least a 2.8 GPA and are planning on entering an accredited post-secondary school or college. Students are eligible to receive either the Local #28 Scholarship or Dollars for Scholars, but not both.

Awards for the 2018 school year have already been announced. Information for graduates in 2019 will become available next January. Additional information and scholarship applications are available by contacting Julie Hawkins at (651) 222-7303 or julie@spft.org.
